With a background in hotels and GDS, the founders of EHBOX have a real understanding of what is needed from the hotel perspective. We did research into what hotels are looking for, what is currently available, what is not available and what guests are looking for. Then we tested various systems, including large group engines, airline engines, meeting planner engines, etc.
Once we had the information we needed, we began the process of actually building the system. We hired programmers with no hotel experience, because we wanted people with a fresh take on an existing scenario. That fresh take led to several innovative ideas that we might have otherwise missed.
